With the weather looking promising, we drove out to the Golden Gate Bridge. Staying away from the masses of tourists, our first stop was a road high atop the Marin Headlands (top), located to the north of the bridge.   The view from 700+ feet above the water (just below Battery Hawk Hill) was awesome as it placed the skyline of San Francisco right between the two bridge towers. Driving a short distance back down to Battery Spencer (middle) provided a much closer view of the bridge.  We wrapped up our tour at Fort Point (bottom), back on the San Francisco side of the bridge, to enjoy the view from the water.
