For the 4th of July weekend a group of us went up to the mountains for some camping. We stayed at the Linville Falls campground, which is nice, but seems to be more oriented to RVs than tents.

We ended up doing a bunch of stuff. We left Saturday morning, had lunch at an overlook on the parkway before getting to the campground and setting up the tent. Sunday, we went hiking at Linville Falls and then canoeing at Julian Price Park. We concluded the trip on Monday, driving down the Parkway to Mt. Mitchell and then Sliding Rock before heading home.
