As a last hurrah to Jay living in DC, we went up there and spent a day in our nation’s capital before heading up to Baltimore for another couple days. Lots of sightseeing was on the itinerary in both cities which resulted in lots of walking. The National Cathedral was a surprise in it’s authenticity as well as the fact it took a hundred years to build. In Baltimore, we saw the inner harbor, had some genuine crab cakes and steamed shrimp doused in Old Bay, and checked out Fells Point. [view-the-gallery galleryaddress=”DcBaltimore08″]
