Was taken on a 23 mile bike ride around Raleigh to check out some of the older neighborhoods and contemporary surprises that are found near downtown. Unfortunately, we got caught out in the rain as storms rolled through the area. After waiting the first round of showers out in a greenway tunnel, almost getting stuck by lightning and caught at a major intersection with no functioning traffic lights, we made it back safely.
