We drove into Yosemite from the north and decided to check out the Hetch Hetchy area first. We missed the first few turns but eventually got onto the right road. It was relatively rough, narrow and bumpy. We descended into the rocky valley and eventually came onto the O’Shaughnesse Dam. The Hetch Hetchy Reservoir is a primary source of water for the city of San Francisco and is renewed yearly during the spring snow melt. The panoramas were taken from just off the dam parking area. Use the two icons in the lower left of each thumbnail to launch the interactive panoramas in the desired format.
