Originally built 1755, burned and rebuilt in 1826, the Old Sheldon Prince William’s Parish Church was burned again in 1865 by the Federal Army. Its ruins still exist today in the low country of South Carolina just northwest of Gardens Corner. According to the historical sign, they still hold Easter services here yearly as well as the occasional wedding.
